LUCANIA. Sybaris. Circa 550-510 BC. 1/3 Stater or Drachm (Silver, 19 mm, 2.60 g, 1 h). VM Bull standing left on dotted ground line, his head turned back to right; all within border of dots. Rev. Bull standing right on dotted ground line, his head turned back to left; all within border of dots; all incuse. HN Italy 1736. SNG ANS 847-853. A splendid and unusually sharp example struck in excellent metal. Good extremely fine.
